I saw this film as part of AMC’s Screen Unseen, an October 2024 release, and let me applaud the director and writer for bringing new content to the crowded annual Monster mess of Hollywood movies. The movie is a good mix of a fresh take on how today’s millennial’s pent-up aggression is reaching a boiling point after years of suppressing their true feelings.
Melissa is perfect, as are the other supporting actors
I like how some elements of Beauty and the Beast are borrowed and reinterpreted along with the beast that lives inside us all and is dying to be revealed. The songs and lyrics are really good, and Melissa gets a chance to show off her singing prowess.
